Trump’s Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles—not for corruption, or incompetence, or crime.

No, they’re suing Los Angeles for refusing to let local police act as an extension of ICE.

This is what Trump’s DOJ cares about. Not fentanyl. Not gun trafficking. Not public safety. Their top priority is punishing cities that defy Trump’s xenophobic anti-immigrant agenda.

They’re not fighting crime. They’re fighting political enemies.
