BREAKING NEWS: Treat and Reduce Obesity Act Reintroduced in Congress!

John,

The Treat and Reduce Obesity Act (TROA) has been reintroduced in the 119th Congress!

Earlier this month, Senator Bill Cassidy (LA) along with Senator Ben Ray Luján (NM) and 15 other original Senate cosponsors reintroduced TROA in the Senate. Today, Representative Mike Kelly announced the reintroduction in the House with Gwen Moore (WI), Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA), Rual Ruiz (CA) and eight other original cosponsors.

Now that TROA is reintroduced in both the House and Senate it's time to take action!

Got questions - Why does TROA matter to me? Why is it taking so long to pass? Read more about where we've been and where we're headed -- Let’s keep the momentum going!

Here's How You Can Help:

Send a message to your members of Congress asking them to support the Treat and Reduce Obesity Act (TROA). We've made it easy with a message template you can use — and we encourage you to personalize it by sharing how improved access to obesity treatments would impact you or someone you care about.
