This isn’t just bad policy — it’s cruelty.

Friend,

Low-income moms, infants, young children, seniors living on fixed incomes, families who rely on WIC and Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) vouchers to get healthy fruits and vegetables — they’re all now being told that those benefits to access food have been slashed and delayed.

Why? Because of budget cuts from the Trump administration, and a complete failure to fully fund these programs.

Let me be clear: This isn’t just bad policy — it’s cruelty.

In fact, WIC agencies across Pennsylvania will receive only 49% of their requested vouchers. These vouchers help families facing food insecurity put fresh produce on the table. They support older adults with chronic health conditions. They invest in local farmers and food systems.

Slashing access to fresh foods isn’t how we make America healthy. I’ve spoken out, loudly and publicly, to demand full and immediate funding. But I need you with me. Will you add your name below to join me in calling out these dangerous cuts to vital programs?

Stand up for food access and against cruel cuts »

I won’t stop fighting until every Pennsylvanian — no matter their age or income — has access to the food they need to stay healthy.
