The Trump administration is currently withholding nearly $7 billion in federal education funding.  

Last week, they declined to release over $1 billion for 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC), which gives children a safe place to learn, grow and thrive, offering help in core subjects like reading and math as well as access to STEM, physical activity and the arts. 

Here’s what’s at stake:  

• Summer programs could shut down mid-season, stranding working families without support.   
• Millions of kids could lose access to stable learning environments. 

John, this isn’t just a delay. It’s a broken promise. Urge Congress to push for the release of education funds TODAY.

21st CCLC offers stability and opportunity to the kids who need it most, improving school attendance, classroom engagement and homework completion. 

The President signed this funding into law with bipartisan support back in March – but states were just told 21st CCLC funds won’t be provided. 

Meanwhile, children are showing up eager to learn, and parents are counting on this program to help their children thrive.  

If Congress doesn’t act now, this vital support could vanish. Demand the immediate release of approved education funds!
