John,
A federal judge recently blocked major parts of Donald Trump’s sweeping executive order on elections — and Minnesota helped lead the charge.
Minnesota, along with 18 other states, sued to stop Trump’s overreach. And last week, we won a critical injunction in our case.
This ruling confirms what we’ve said all along: Presidents don’t get to rewrite election law by executive order. The Constitution gives that power to Congress and the states — not the White House.
But this fight isn’t over. The Trump administration is expected to appeal. We need your help to keep pushing back. I’m looking for 300 people to join us in this fight this week by making a donation of any size. Will you chip in $10 or more today to help us defend the freedom to vote?
If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be processed now. |
I got into this work because my family knew what it meant to live without the right to vote. My family fled persecution in present-day Lithuania and found freedom here in Minnesota.
I will never stop working to make sure that freedom extends to everyone. Please help me keep up the fight and get the word out about the attacks on our right to vote. Make a donation of any size now →
Let’s keep going — together.
Thank you,
Steve
