The goal of the Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP) is to create an actionable, equitable and comprehensive plan to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. This webinar is designed to share progress on statewide climate planning efforts.

Tribes, state and local governments, subject matter experts, and the public, especially those in communities most impacted by climate change, will be involved in creating the CCAP. This meeting is geared toward the general public and those interested in learning more about greenhouse gas modeling results, which inform Washington’s CCAP.

Meeting goals:

  • Hear from the CCAP emissions modeling team again about additional scenarios to achieve Washington’s net-zero greenhouse gas emissions, including an illustrative scenario reflecting the draft CCAP. We'll also discuss potential air quality and economic impacts.
  • Learn from the consumption-based emissions inventory modeling team about their findings on Washington's global greenhouse gas emissions footprint.
  • Discover how you can provide feedback on the draft CCAP.

In preparation for this meeting, you can view the first CCAP emissions modeling presentation and materials at this Box location:

Participants are welcome to submit clarifying technical questions on the modeling during the meeting, but comments on the modeling or process should be directed toward the public comment form.

The draft CCAP and other materials can be viewed at this Box location:
