John,
Last year, I ran against Republican Deb Fischer for the U.S. Senate here in Nebraska. No one believed I had a snowball’s chance in hell. But we proved everyone wrong and got 47% of the vote in one of the closest Senate races in the country.
And now, I’m announcing I’m running again for the U.S. Senate – this time against billionaire Republican Pete Ricketts.
I don’t come from money. I’m not rich. I’m a blue-collar, card-carrying union mechanic. And I can’t think of a better idea right now than replacing a literal billionaire in the Senate with an actual working-class American.
The first poll shows we can win – I’m in a virtual tie with Ricketts, 46% to 45% – but I’m running against a literal billionaire who has unlimited funds to spend against me.
We can flip this Senate seat for working-class families, but the only way I can fight back against the attacks and win is if grassroots donors like you chip in right now to my campaign:

It wasn’t easy to decide to make another run and ask my wife and kids to go through another grueling campaign. But this is too important a moment in our country’s history to sit this one out.
I know we can win this, but I’m counting on your support now.
Thank you for being with me from the start,
Dan Osborn
