Friends, we got an incredible victory for Pride Month:

This is the payoff of decades of activism. I applaud the LGBTQ+ organizers who led us to this moment and am thrilled to live in a country where no one can be fired for who they are or who they love.
As a member of the Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus, I’m committed to this fight -- and as always, there’s more work to do.
We passed the bipartisan Equality Act over a year ago -- and it’s been sitting on Mitch McConnell’s desk since. We need to codify LGBTQ+ protections in law -- will you sign my petition to demonstrate your support for the Equality Act and demand the Senate take a vote?
The Supreme Court’s ruling only covers employment discrimination. Meanwhile, the LGBTQ+ community still lacks protection against discriminatory housing, public accommodations, public education, federal funding, credit, and jury service.
The Equality Act would ban LGBTQ+ discrimination across the board -- if the Senate allows a vote.
We can’t wait any longer -- sign on to demand the Senate call a vote on this bill!
In solidarity,
Haley Stevens
