DOJ jumps on SCOTUS ruling to revive Trump's anti-voting order
- After SCOTUS’ ruling banning universal injunctions, the DOJ argued ([link removed] ) a court should partially lift its block on the proof of citizenship requirement in President Donald Trump’s anti-voting order. The department asked that the block apply only to the 19 Democratic states involved in the lawsuit.

- El Salvador told ([link removed] ) the United Nations that it has no legal authority over hundreds of Venezuelan men Trump sent to a Salvadoran megaprison earlier this year — contradicting the Trump administration.
- Trump and his officials claimed they can not comply with court orders to return some of the 200-plus men sent to the prisons because they are under the legal authority of El Salvador.
CISA staff fear ‘retribution’ from Trump administration
