Public transit is a way of life for so many Philadelphians. It helps them every single day to get to work, school, and more.

We need to do what we can to keep service running regularly and keep costs down. That’s why, last week, I traveled to Harrisburg with my colleagues to meet with Governor Shapiro and Senate Republicans.

I’m pushing back against Harrisburg’s planned budget cuts and showing SEPTA that we have their back. If you agree, will you sign your name now to show support? We need to show our state legislature that SEPTA matters to the people of Philly. [[link removed]]

If the proposed budget cuts go through in Harrisburg, 50+ bus routes, 5 Regional Rail lines, and all train service after 9PM will be cut, and SEPTA will be forced to raise fares.

The people of Philly deserve a voice, instead of those in our state legislature deciding they know best about a system they don’t use every single day. I’m fighting hard with my colleagues on City Council to make that happen.
