 I was a homeless, disabled, high school dropout. I was left with a destroyed spine after falling 30 feet on the railroad. I was immobile, disabled, and weighed in at 450+ pounds. And I was knocking on death’s door when Jesus Christ spared my life. My name is Josh Williams – I give all glory to GOD for turning my life around when I hit rock bottom. I prayed for strength and He delivered. A few short years later, I got my GED, graduated from the University of Toledo School of Law, married the love of my life, and became the first Black Republican elected to the Ohio State House in 50 years. I’m humbly asking you to become a Founding Donor now that I officially announced my candidacy in OH-09.  When I say this is the biggest House race on the map, I mean it.  Luckily, her current term is going to be her last. President Trump won this district by over 6 points, and Kaptur barely squeaked by in 2024 by 0.7%. In other words, this seat is WINNABLE. But defeating a 40+ year incumbent won’t be easy. Kaptur has built an overflowing Rolodex of Trump-hating liberal donors over the course of her decades in power. I have no doubt that the second I announced my campaign, the money to destroy me started pouring in. So that’s why I could really use your help right now. By my calculations, I need AT LEAST 15,000 conservatives to become a Founding Donor before my first filing deadline. That will help me spread the word about my new candidacy, boost name ID in the first few weeks, and make sure I can campaign in every corner of the district.
