Hi John,
Every day, workers at the International Rescue Committee (IRC), a humanitarian aid nonprofit, serve people seeking refuge in our country and a better life for themselves and their families.
Since 2023, workers at IRC offices in 11 locations nationwide have organized with OPEIU local unions.
But IRC management has consistently delayed and undermined the bargaining process that serves as the cornerstone of our collective fight for living wages, good benefits and reasonable working conditions.
While the IRC’s top executives collectively earn nearly $5 million a year, many IRC front-line workers aren’t earning a living wage. In fighting for a fair first contract, IRC Workers Unite/OPEIU is committed to creating a sustainable future for IRC workers—a future where one job is enough.
Will you please take a moment to email IRC management?
IRC workers demand that management stop stalling at the bargaining table, end their union-busting and settle a fair first contract.
Thank you for helping these hardworking refugee and asylum advocates reach a fair first contract.
In solidarity,
Team AFL-CIO
