Dear Mr. xxxxxx:
As your Congressman, I believe one of the most important things we can do is honor the men and women who have served our nation in uniform. That’s why I want to personally invite Vietnam Veterans from Alabama's Fourth District to join me at one of two upcoming Vietnam Veteran Pinning Ceremonies we’ll be holding this August.
These ceremonies are part of a national effort to recognize and thank those who served during the Vietnam War era — whether overseas or here at home. If you are a veteran who served during the Vietnam War, I hope you’ll join us so we can express our deep appreciation for your service and sacrifice. If you are not a Vietnam Veteran but know someone who is, and they live in the Fourth District, please let them know.
Here are the details for the two events:
Tuscumbia Ceremony
Thursday, August 22, 2025 10:30 AM Alabama Music Hall of Fame 617 U.S. Hwy 72 W, Tuscumbia, AL 35674
Cleveland Ceremony
Thursday, August 29, 2025 10:30 AM Blount County Agri-Business Center 6700 Co Hwy 1, Cleveland, AL 35049
Each Vietnam-era veteran in attendance will receive an official lapel pin as a small token of our nation’s gratitude. This is a moment to publicly honor them — many of whom never received a proper “thank you” when they returned home.
If you or someone you know would like to be honored at one of these ceremonies, please sign up here: https://aderholt.house.gov/services/vietnam-veterans-50th-anniversary-pin-program
or call 256-546-0201
Please register by August 18th.
Let’s come together to honor those who served with courage and dignity. I hope to see you there.
May God bless you and your loved ones.
Sincerely,
Robert B. Aderholt
