Texas Flood Response
The Missouri Conference joins its neighbors in prayer and action for those affected by the devastating flooding along the Guadalupe River in Texas and surrounding communities.
- Please do not self-deploy. Search and rescue is still underway and more rain is expected. There has not been an official call-out for Early Response Teams. We will notify certified responders when that call-out happens. If you have questions, please contact Conference Disaster Response Coordinator Bambi Wheeler at [email protected].
- Be in prayer for those affected. The Texas Conference has developed worship resources for use in your ministry context.
- The best way for you and your church to immediately serve is by giving financially. The Rio Texas Conference has established a Guadalupe Flood Relief Special Offering, and 100% of gifts will go to support immediate needs in the affected areas.
- Churches: If taking an offering, please send collected gifts to the Rio Texas Conference office, designated to Advance #2050 — Guadalupe River Flood.
