John, I'm Jay Jones, the Democratic nominee for Attorney General. I'm honored to join Abigail and Ghazala on the ticket that will flip Virginia blue.
I'm going to share my story with you in a moment, but first, I have a small but meaningful request:
Will you split a donation between my campaign for Attorney General and Abigail Spanberger today? It's going to take each of us giving a few bucks here and there to defeat Trump's agenda at the ballot box this November.

In case you didn't know, I come from a long line of Virginia trailblazers.
My grandfather was a pioneering Civil Rights Attorney in Norfolk and was the first Black member of the Virginia Board of Education. My father was one of the first students to integrate Norfolk’s public schools, then later went on to serve Virginia in all three branches of government as a Delegate, Director of the Department of Juvenile Justice, and Circuit Court Judge.
To go from the little boy sitting on his dad's lap in General Assembly sessions to later filling that same seat in the House of Delegates is a profound privilege.
They laid the foundation, and now, I'm ready to build on their legacy.
As the next Attorney General, I will work hand-in-hand with Abigail and Ghazala to make life more affordable for Virginians and secure our rights.
But first, we have to win.
Winsome Earle-Sears and Jason Miyares have put their allegiance to Trump above the needs of Virginia families. They're backed by a deep bench of donors who'll fund nonstop attack ads in order to keep hold of power.
I mean it, whatever the amount, Abigail and I are counting on your split contribution of $25 or more. It adds up quickly when we all pitch in, so I hope you'll give what you can to become one of our founding donors today.
