Dear John,
Just days ago, Americans across the country came together to celebrate 249 years since a group of bold visionaries gathered in Philadelphia to commit what the Crown considered treason.
Fifty-six patriots—leaders from thirteen colonies—signed their names to a document that told King George III one simple truth: We will no longer be ruled. We will rule ourselves.
That decision, ratified on July 4, 1776, wasn’t just revolutionary—it was world-changing. Against all odds, they chose liberty. And in doing so, they sparked the creation of a republic built not on monarchy or might, but on the God-given rights of individuals.
Their words echo louder than fireworks:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal…”
These aren’t just phrases in history books—they are the heartbeat of the American experiment.
Now, as we move forward from Independence Day, the question is: How do we honor their legacy today?
This month, we take another step in that direction with the adoption of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act—a bold new initiative rooted in the values our Founders held dear. Freedom. Responsibility. Opportunity.
So even though the parades have ended and the sparklers have gone out, the real celebration—the work of preserving and strengthening our republic—continues.
Look at the flag. Think of the 56. Reflect on your part in keeping the American spirit alive.
Thank you for being part of this movement. Let’s carry that boldness forward.
