Team, remember when we made history by enshrining reproductive rights in Ohio’s constitution?

Well, Republicans in Ohio are proposing a bill that would criminalize abortion . The “Prenatal Equal Protection Act” would treat abortion as homicide, jeopardize access to birth control, and put IVF at risk.

It’s not just this new bill. Ohio statehouse Republicans also went out of their way to pass a state budget that slashed funding for infant and maternal health. It’s yet another attempt to control care, silence providers, and limit people’s choices.

Ohioans already made it clear: We support the right to choose. But Republican leaders are pushing ahead anyway, using their power to roll back the freedoms we secured at the ballot box.
