I'm in this fight for people like Alex.

Alex is more than just an incredible Deputy Field Director on Team Crow. They are kind, passionate, and consistently inspiring those around them to be the best volunteer and the best activist they can be. When I win again this November, it will only be because of the hard work and dedication of remarkable individuals like Alex.

(Alex is also a superb woodworker if you happen to need a new set of wooden spoons!)

Just like you, Alex and I are both committed to making our communities a better place for everyone. But even with the Supreme Court's historic ruling that solidifies LGBTQIA+ nondiscrimination protections in the workplace, I still have a lot more work to do to stand up for my teammates, friends, and neighbors like Alex.

We have achieved so much together over the past two years, friend, but the work is far from over.

And that's why my upcoming end-of-quarter deadline is so important. While Coloradans are filling out their mail ballots or heading to the polls, Alex and Team Crow are working overtime to hit our ambitious -- but necessary -- $50,000 goal. The special interests have placed a target on our campaign, so it's critical we build up the resources we need to keep the 6th district in the hands of the people.

Can I count on you to step up and chip in $5 today, friend? We are already falling behind on this critical FEC end-of-quarter goal right as we're reaching out to primary voters, and need at least 23 more supporters from Washington to step up before midnight tonight to keep us on track.

Elections aren't about polls and splashy TV ads -- they're about people. Des and I didn't decide to run for Congress because it would be easy. We ran because of people like Alex. The kind of servant leadership I learned in the Army wasn't what I was seeing from Congress -- and I knew it was up to me to change that.

The status quo doesn't work for me or Alex -- or even you, friend. That status quo only works for the wealthy and well-connected, the special interests who want their profits prioritized over the needs of the people of this great nation. But together, we will continue fighting for the people for another two years when we win again this November.

So please, chip in whatever you can afford today to keep us on track to hit our $50,000 end-of-quarter goal before this fast-approaching FEC deadline. We may already be behind -- but I'm confident we'll hit every essential benchmark from here until the primary on June 30 with your help.
