A new study of nearly 12,000 pre-teens found that social media use is “associated with elevated depressive symptoms.” The study followed children over three years, starting at the age of 9 or 10. “Daily social media use among study participants surged tenfold over those years,” The Washington Post reported in an interview with the study’s lead author. “During that same time frame, reported depression symptoms jumped 35 percent.” Artificial food dyes — long used to brighten snacks, cereals and drinks — are facing growing pressure from regulators, researchers and food companies alike. Over the past four months, the Office of Management and Budget, or OMB, has worked tirelessly to deliver on President Trump’s promise of a federal government that works for the American people, not bureaucrats and the entrenched establishment.
