Donald Trump believes he's identified "the civil rights [issue] of all time in this country."
And according to him, it doesn't have to do with police brutality or discrimination against LGBTQ+ Americans or the systemic racism that affects the lives of all people of color -- according to Donald Trump, the biggest civil rights problem in the country is "school choice."
That's right -- the president thinks the main civil rights issue of the decade is the government funding of private school vouchers.
Why is a tired GOP talking point getting the presidential attention that vulnerable Americans deserve? Maybe a 74-year-old billionaire who once asked African Americans, "What do you have to lose?" isn't the best judge of civil rights.
