Hi John -- We need to hear from you.
Over the past few weeks, our members of the press have been met with violence at the hands of the police while covering the mass protests on the ground in cities across the country. Mary Gay has taken a stand to protect the free press in her recent resolution in the House. In it, she calls out the blatant use of excessive and lethal force by law enforcement against journalists and media teams.
Despite presenting press passes and identifying themselves as members of the media, members of law enforcement have used tear gas, pepper spray, pepper balls, and rubber bullets against reporters and media staff who are doing their job to keep the American public informed on what is happening on the ground of these protests. Today, we want to know where you stand:
Do you stand with the members of the press?

Thanks so much for sharing your insights with us today. We look forward to sharing your responses with Mary Gay first thing tomorrow.
