Earlier this week, Maricopa County Recorder Justin Heap sent letters to over 83,000 voters , warning them that their registration was in jeopardy.
The problem?
He sent them to the wrong people!
Now, thousands of legally registered voters are confused, worried, and questioning the integrity of our system.
Heap campaigned on “restoring trust in elections”—but how can someone restore trust when they clearly don’t understand how the Recorder’s Office or our election systems work?
And it’s not just us saying this.
Even Debbie Lesko —yes, that Debbie Lesko— has publicly criticized Heap’s incompetence. She’s now on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, and she’s clashed with Heap over his poor performance. In fact, the Republican-led Board of Supervisors is suing Justin Heap , citing similar concerns about his inability to do the job.
Let’s be clear: Justin Heap is a classic MAGA candidate — extreme, unqualified, and a threat to the basic functions of government. He’s aligned with Kari Lake, parrots dangerous rhetoric, and now, he’s undermining confidence in our elections with sloppy, avoidable mistakes.
We cannot afford this kind of incompetence in such a critical office—or any office.
Just look around the country. From Kristi Noem not knowing which cosplay to wear each day, to Trump loyalists like Heap who have replaced public service with chaos. The GOP is riddled with incompetence.
We’re organizing to stop it—at every level.
Friend, can you donate today to help us elect competent, qualified leaders who actually know how to do the job? Government only works when the people running it are actually capable of serving. [[link removed]]
Let’s stop the chaos—and rebuild trust, one vote at a time.
