Before you head out to celebrate, we wanted to share something important.
 
Today, Donald Trump—aided and abetted by Congressional Republicans, even those who claim to be moderate—is signing what they’re calling the “One Big Beautiful Bill.” But in reality, there’s nothing beautiful about it.
 
On a day meant to honor liberty and justice for everyone, they’re stripping 17 million Americans of their health insurance while gutting food and housing assistance programs that millions of others rely on. And they’re doing it so they can hand massive tax cuts to billionaires and giant corporations.
 
But here’s the good news: We don’t have to stand by and watch. Each of us can take action—right now—to fight back and ensure that this bill’s passage comes with a steep political price.
