John –

This Fourth of July, we celebrate 249 years since our founders declared that everyone deserves life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

But today, that promise is at risk – because the MAGA majority is barreling ahead with the One Big Ugly Bill.

This afternoon, after a sham process whipped through the Senate, President Trump will sign the One Big Ugly Bill into law. I voted NO – for the second time – standing shoulder-to-shoulder with every Democrat against this cruel scam pulled straight from Trump’s Project 2025 playbook.

This Republican extremist budget scam will strip over 17 million everyday Americans of their healthcare, snatch food from the mouths of hungry children, and kick our elders out of nursing homes. All while handing tax breaks to billionaires and raiding our national debt by nearly $4 trillion dollars!

President Trump and House Republicans keep claiming to lower costs. Instead, they are lying to and stealing from the American people.

I promise you this, John: I will keep pushing back every step of the way to hold the line against MAGA extremism and fight for working families in the House. But I can’t do it alone.

To hold Republicans accountable for this betrayal, we must flip the House Blue in 2026. If you’re with me, make a lasting impact by contributing today to help us reclaim the House and end this chaos and cruelty: [[link removed]]

As you gather with friends and family this weekend, remember that the Fourth of July isn’t just fireworks and parades – it’s the revolutionary idea that the government should serve the people, not the powerful. And certainly not a king.

That fight didn’t end in 1776 – it’s happening right now .
