| Fellow American, Today, I’m proud to be celebrating America. Among all the fireworks, cookouts, and family gatherings, we can never forget the real meaning of this day. Growing up as the son of a United States Marine, my father instilled in me a deep respect for those who fought for our independence and the brave men and women who continue to protect it, ensuring America remains the land of the free. This Independence Day, we honor the values that define us—resilience, opportunity, and freedom. As I watch fireworks light up Montana’s Big Sky, I’m reminded of my father’s stories of duty and the strength of our communities, bound together by the shared belief in America’s promise. The legacy of our Servicemembers reminds us to cherish our freedoms and live with the same resolve that won our independence.
