SBA works to match PPP borrowers with CDFIs, smaller lenders
The Small Business Administration (SBA) Friday announced the launch of its online tool for small businesses and non-profits to find Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), Minority Depository Institutions (MDIs), and other smaller asset-size lenders offering loans through the paycheck protection program (PPP).

NCUA outlines multi-phase reopening, on-site exams plan
The NCUA last week issued a Letter to Credit Unions detailing the agency's multi-phase approach to resuming on-site operations. When the NCUA enters the plan's first phase, which will be communicated beforehand, the agency may begin conducting voluntary on-site examinations.

NCUA recognizes Juneteenth, releases report on MDIs
NCUA Board Chairman Rodney Hood Friday recognized the significance of Juneteenth and reiterated his call for the credit union industry to work toward greater financial inclusion for all Americans. The agency also released its annual report to Congress detailing the financial condition of Minority Depository Institution (MDI) designated credit unions.
