I’m proud to report that House Republicans PASSED the One Big Beautiful Bill, a huge win for the American people.

Despite the endless distractions and fearmongering, we cut through the noise and sent a bill to the President’s desk that delivers real results for hardworking Americans.

This reconciliation bill advances President Trump’s America First agenda, provides critical tax relief, and reins in waste, fraud, and abuse across the federal government.

✅ It makes the 2017 Trump tax cuts permanent, protecting families from devastating tax hikes, including an average $1,486 increase facing families in Wisconsin's Sixth District. That means more money in your pocket, not Washington’s.

✅ It eliminates taxes on tips and overtime pay, provides additional tax relief for seniors, and strengthens our economy for middle-class families.

✅ It secures our border by fully funding President Trump's border wall system and increasing immigration enforcement.

✅ It restores work requirements for able-bodied adults receiving taxpayer-funded benefits, helping preserve safety nets like Medicaid for those who truly need them.

The bill also includes parts of two major bills I led:

📌 The FEHB Protection Act: My bill imposes stronger eligibility verification for the Federal Employees Health Benefits program, helping root out waste and saving taxpayers over $2 billion.

📌 The CREATE JOBS Act: The Big Beautiful Bill extends bonus depreciation and ensures continued full expensing for R&D investments. It also applies neutral cost recovery to manufacturing construction through 2029, giving businesses and manufacturers the tools they need to innovate, grow, and hire more workers.

The One Big Beautiful Bill is a historic victory. After four years of failure under President Biden, the American people gave us a mandate to restore prosperity and protect their freedoms. I’m honored to stand with President Trump and my Congressional colleagues to deliver strong, conservative policy that puts Americans first.

Last week, I introduced the Enforce the Caps Act, legislation to extend federal spending limits through Fiscal Year 2029.

Right now, spending caps are only in place through FY2025 under the bipartisan Fiscal Responsibility Act. My bill simply extends those protections, putting up essential guardrails to stop Washington’s out-of-control spending and help rein in our debt crisis.

We can’t keep borrowing against the next generation's future. With the One Big Beautiful Bill, we can't waste any time moving the ball forward in reducing deficits, curbing inflation, and getting our fiscal house in order.

Today, we celebrate the birth of our great nation. On July 4th, 1776, the Declaration of Independence set us on the path to freedom, united by liberty, patriotism, and the American dream.

There is no greater honor than serving in Congress to protect the freedoms we cherish every day.

This Fourth of July, I’ll be spending time in Wisconsin’s Sixth District, celebrating the country I love with the people I serve.
