House Republicans – including Elise Stefanik – just voted to pass the GOP’s budget bill. Here’s how this bill will affect us here in the North Country:
❌ It includes the largest cut to Medicaid in history. With nearly 30% of our district on Medicaid, thousands could be kicked off their healthcare.
❌ Rural hospitals will lose funding, making it harder for everyone in our community to access the important care they need.
❌ Cuts to SNAP will take food off the table of North Country families.
Herbert, Elise Stefanik has once again betrayed the North Country just to prioritize a political agenda.
