Yesterday, I joined KTVZ News to spell out exactly what I think of Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill.” It’s trash. T-R-A-S-H. Trash.

Now, House Republicans just passed this trash bill — extending tax cuts for the richest people who’ve ever lived, while hanging hard working Americans out to dry.

Let’s be clear: This bill will cause irreparable harm to people across the country.

We’re talking about a loss of healthcare for millions of Americans and a loss of nutritional assistance for our kids, veterans, and seniors. Rural hospitals will shutter, Planned Parenthood clinics will close, and people will go hungry. All things of consequence.

It’s an abomination, and I voted NO to stand up for each and every Oregonian.

While this bill may have passed the House, our fight for a better future for the next generation is far from over.

I’m more determined than ever to keep up the work that Oregonians sent me to Congress to achieve: To lower the cost of living, improve our quality of life, protect healthcare, and make life easier for working families.

But with so much on the line, I’m going to need you standing with me to push back on this disgraceful legislation and continue the fight for hard working Americans.
