This July 4th, let’s live up to our founding ideals

Hi John,

As we celebrate our 249th year of independence from a monarchy, what would our founders think if they saw what was happening today?

The current administration is acting more like a king than a president, doing things like:

Silencing watchdogs so he can operate with little to no oversight Bypassing the people’s voice and governing by executive decree Disregarding the Constitution and openly ignoring court rulings Accepting lavish gifts without Congressional approval Trying to intimidate critics and the American people, including by sending troops into our cities

We need to rally as many Americans as possible to hold the administration accountable to the Constitution it swore to uphold.
