This past Saturday, we hosted our 2025 Summer Convention—and what an incredible event it was!
Even though we weren’t voting on bylaws or new board members, over 300 people showed up. Why? Because in a moment when the Arizona Democratic Party has been riddled with discord, people wanted to see something different.
This convention was proudly supported by Governor Katie Hobbs, Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, and Congressman Greg Stanton—all of whom are leading the fight against MAGA extremism here in Arizona.
We heard powerful speeches from Congressman Stanton and Secretary Fontes, and inspiring reports from our Chair Patti O’Neil and Executive Director Eric Limbs. The message was clear: we must organize at the ground level now if we want to re-elect our Democratic incumbents and stop the far-right in 2026.
Governor Hobbs is our most crucial firewall against MAGA’s dangerous agenda.
Secretary Fontes is our last line of defense for democracy and voting rights.
They have our backs—and now it’s time we have theirs.
We’re preparing an aggressive countywide organizing strategy in Maricopa County, which is home to 64% of Arizona’s registered voters. What we do here could decide the outcome of the entire state in 2026.
Our convention made it clear: we’re ready, united, and focused.
