Dear John,
Thank you for joining the fight to end Alzheimer's and all dementia.
As the COVID-19 pandemic has shown, continued investment in research is absolutely critical to understanding and responding to diseases, and Alzheimer's is no different.
For everyone living with dementia, and everyone affected, we must change the trajectory of this disease. We can only do that by working together to push research forward.
Please take a stand today. Send a message to your members of Congress urging them to pass the 2021 fiscal year budget with $354 million in additional Alzheimer's research funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and $20 million to implement the BOLD Infrastructure for Alzheimer's Act at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Congress needs to hear from you that increasing funding for Alzheimer's research is necessary to end this devastating disease.
Please add your voice to ours. Speak out today.
We've made it easy for you by providing sample language for you to use. But hurry — it's important to act before Congress finalizes its fiscal year 2021 budget.
Millions of Americans have been impacted by Alzheimer's or another dementia. Let's keep that circle from growing by committing to research today to change tomorrow. We must act now: Send your message to Congress today.
Thank you,
John Funderburk
