We know it feels like the 2026 election is far away, but the truth is that campaigns like ours are going to have to start making spending decisions sooner than you think.
Around the start of the new year is when we’ll start making choices about how much to actually spend in different buckets, like TV ads versus digital ads. That’s less than six months away!
If we don’t raise enough, we may have to make tough cuts and scale back some of our voter contact efforts. On the other hand, if we keep hitting our targets—or we even beat expectations—we have the ability to get the best deals on TV ad time and we can even increase our pace of communications.
