Hi John,
There’s a lot going on in our state and around the world right now – but I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss this!
In this year’s election, pro-life Oregonians like you went to the ballot box and helped deliver solid wins for ORTL PAC-endorsed pro-life school board candidates across the state.
I'm sending along our 2025 election report detailing these victories.

A few highlights:
We made more than 356,933 contacts to pro-life voters in key races, helping place 17 pro-life candidates on school boards across OregonVolunteers and ORTL PAC staff logged 679 campaign hours of grassroots engagement44,372 pro-life voters got a personal visit or personal phone call from our team, and 20,439 pro-life voters received an additional “get-out-the-vote” call from usWe hosted eight training and recruitment seminars engaging interested advocates across the stateWe turned out nearly 50% of pro-life voters in Salem-Keizer, outpacing Republican, Democrat, and overall demographics by up to 17%
Many of these races were highly competitive.
Fewer than 1,000 votes determined the outcome in 20 school board races this year, and less than 100 votes determined the outcome in nine races.
Tight margins like these give Oregon Right to Life PAC’s grassroots team the opportunity to shine.
This year, pro-abortion activists campaigned to elect Angelo Arredondo Baca to the Salem-Keizer School District. Baca, a pro-abortion student at Oregon State University, could have become a deciding vote on matters like allowing abortion-referring health centers onto the campuses of K-12 schools throughout the district.
Defeating Baca was a top priority for us.
Our team paid visits to 35,000 pro-life families across the district to rally opposition to Baca – and we won.
When all the ballots were counted, we had defeated Baca by 304 votes. Now, instead of a pro-abortion activist, we have a strong pro-life leader, Jennifer Parker, on the Salem-Keizer school board.

The ability to rally voters to stand up for life is critical – especially in very competitive election seasons like this one.
It was the dedicated support of volunteers, the thoughtful financial contributions of supporters, and the commitment to voting for pro-life candidates, that helped us bring pro-life wins to Oregon this election.
Thank you for standing up for Oregon’s kids – born and unborn – and pushing back against the radical pro-abortion agenda with us.
I’m so grateful to be in this with you.
Because everyone deserves an advocate,
Sharolyn Smith
