Hi John,
Tomorrow is July 4th, a day when we celebrate the birth of our nation and the ideals it was founded on: liberty, justice, and a government by and for the people.
Right now it can feel like we’ve drifted far from that vision.
The voices of everyday people are drowned out by political noise, power grabs, and policies that divide more than they unite. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed. To wonder, what can I do to fight back against something this big?
But change doesn’t start at the top. It starts here at home. In our neighborhoods. In our schools. In our state. We rebuild faith in our democracy by making it work where we live.
That’s why I’m running for the House of Delegates. Because I believe we still have the power to shape our future. Not with grand speeches or sweeping gestures, but one vote, one conversation, one community at a time.
This July 4th, let’s recommit ourselves to the real promise of America, not just as it was written, but as it could be.
And let’s start right here.
