In addition to featuring our UCLA scholars on Fox11 LA News, Christine Devine sat down with First Star's President Peter Samuelson, Executive Director Robin Winston, scholars, and staff from our UCLA Academy, for her podcast Olympic & Bundy.  They discussed the importance of First Star's Academy program in helping foster youth transition from high school into higher education and adulthood.  Our scholars were able to talk about the profound effects being a First Star scholar has had on their lives as students, as well as how it's inspired them to go after their dreams.
