This Father’s Day, I’m thinking fondly of the memory of my dad.

He was a community college professor who cared so much about his work and his family.

He taught me about what service and patriotism look like, as a military veteran, and showed me what the American Dream looks like, as the first in his family to go to college.

Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there -- those with us and looking down upon us. I am missing my late father very much today, but find comfort in the memories and strength he gave me.
