| In a surprise move, the U.S. Supreme Court postponed until next term a decision in a high-stakes Louisiana redistricting case that could have major implications for the future of the Voting Rights Act. What is at stake?

The Senate passed a budget reconciliation bill, also known as the “Big Beautiful Bill.” It's important to know that YOU can still help prevent this bill from passing the U.S. House.
This bill would negatively impact Medicaid, SNAP, and other programs and services in the state that millions of Pennsylvanians rely on!
No other in our history has stripped away health care and food assistance from tens of millions of people in our country and hundreds of thousands in our state.
To put the impact of this bill in perspective for Pennsylvania: - 2 million adults and 1.4 million children rely on Medicaid.
- 400,000 seniors use it for long-term care.
-
2 million Pennsylvanians depend on SNAP to afford groceries.
- Medicaid cuts could cost the state 49,000 jobs and wipe out $5.3 billion in economic activity
Send a message to your U.S. Representatives in Congress to demand that they don’t slash critical programs that help, uplift, and support our friends, family, and communities across Pennsylvania!
Call your U.S. House Representative at 202-224-3121 or use 5calls.org to let them know why they should oppose this bill. |

| NPPEF on the Ground: Juneteenth
|
|
|
Our canvassing teams were out on the ground on Juneteenth, connecting with our communities to celebrate Freedom Day.
Honoring Black freedom means taking action: registering voters, sharing resources, and building power face to face. Liberation means having a voice, and we’re here to make sure every one is heard. |
