John, what do you know about the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)? It’s okay if your answer is “Not too much,” because you’re in good company.

The PPP is a $650 billion taxpayer-funded COVID-19 relief program to help businesses stay afloat and support their workers.

The reason why we haven't known too much about it? Trump officials have dodged questions about which companies are receiving these funds, and if they’re truly using this aid to help workers.

This program is a lifeline for small businesses and workers facing unemployment, but without proper oversight, these tax dollars could be used to line the pockets of wealthy executives instead.

So John, make no mistake: Katie will stay on this until the Administration fulfills this commitment and the public receives full transparency.
