In Kentucky, Charles Booker’s people-powered campaign is surging against the establishment pick, Amy McGrath. Mitch McConnell has been smearing McGrath as a “Pelosi liberal” for years. That’s backfiring for him as the veil lifts. Kentuckians—and Americans across the country—are choosing candidates aligned with their values over candidates who protect structurally racist institutions and toe the party line.
