Dear Sir or Madam,
On this Fourth of July, I am especially grateful for the freedoms we have as Americans to speak out, to stand up, and to fight for what we believe.
At a moment when so much is at stake for Israel and for our community, it has never been more important to exercise those inalienable rights.
Together through AIPAC, we participate in our democracy to defend the values we cherish and ensure that Israel — a fellow democracy whose partnership benefits America in countless ways — can fight and win a war of survival.
The alliance we work hard to preserve and protect is all the more vital in moments of crisis. When the relationship between America and Israel is stronger, both countries are safer and better prepared to overcome shared challenges. Since October 7, this partnership has helped keep countless Israelis safe and ensure our ally has the world's most advanced capabilities to defeat enemies sworn to its destruction. That alliance has been built over decades, thanks to the dedicated advocacy of pro-Israel Americans in all 50 states and every congressional district.
In May, Rachel Goldberg-Polin delivered the following message as part of her commencement address to the graduates of Yeshiva University: "We are not what we say. We are not what we think. We are not even what we believe. In this life, we are what we do!"
What we do together will help save lives and help shape Israel's future. I am grateful to be able to do this work with you.
Wishing you the best,
Cory Meyer
AIPAC Communications Director
The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
