Media's Response to Paramount Settlement with Trump Shows Why They Lost Public Trust |
by Joshua Arnold |
Paramount has settled for at least $16 million in a lawsuit brought by President Donald Trump over a "deceptive edit" of Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris's interview aired by CBS News's "60 Minutes," which Paramount owns. In addition to the monetary settlement, CBS has also agreed to change its editorial standards to require prompt release of unedited transcripts. But far more newsworthy than the settlement itself is the mainstream media's histrionic response. |

'America First' Foreign Policy: A Global Opportunity for Faith, Family, and Freedom (Part 1) |
by Travis Weber |
Shortly after taking office, Trump withdrew the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO) and barred U.S. taxpayer funding from supporting abortion and gender ideology around the world. These actions were swiftly followed by a review of foreign assistance grants and programs, which resulted in the shuttering of many initiatives. Although the USAID review and other actions may appear chaotic and indiscriminate at times, there is no denying that a "housecleaning" is underway. Now, President Donald Trump is moving to end TPS and deport hundreds of thousands of immigrants, most of whom entered the country illegally before being shielded by the Biden administration. Federal judges, however, are getting in the way. |

by Daniel Schmid |
In the debate over whether individuals can enforce rights under laws passed via the Spending Clause of Article I, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution, one significant truth clearly emerges from the recent Supreme Court decision in Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic: states have the authority to defund Planned Parenthood through Medicaid, and there is nothing Abortion, Inc. can do about it. |
