Your guide to training, events, vacancies, and opportunities across the youth sector.

** July 2025
------------------------------------------------------------
Hello John,

I hope you're keeping well.

Yesterday, over 80 elected representatives joined us to meet with young people and youth workers from across the country at our Invest In Youth Work event ([link removed]) . The event is part of NYCI’s #YouthWorkersChangeLives campaign, which highlights the power of youth work and calls on Government to invest an additional €21.3 million in youth work services in the upcoming Budget. Keep an eye out in your local press and social media as we start sharing pictures from the day - this is just one part of our wider push to build momentum for real investment in youth work in Budget 2026.

And as always, below you'll find your usual round-up of opportunities, updates, and events from across the youth work sector.

Best,

Charlie
NYCI

Erasmus+ Youth at Risk
The future of the Erasmus+ Youth Chapter and European Solidarity Corps is under threat. Proposed changes at EU level could break up the programme, making it harder for young people and youth organisations to access vital opportunities. NYCI is calling on the Irish Government and MEPs to protect the full Erasmus+ structure. Contact your MEPs and Minister Lawless TD to make your voice heard.
