We are on the edge of passing a budget which includes a $93.6 billion tax cut for millionaires while also kicking more Americans off of healthcare than ever before.
I'm still awake, watching it, as every single House Democrat stands up against Trump's budget and his callous party (thank you CSPAN!). We don't know what's going to happen on this vote, but no matter how it goes, I refuse to be paralyzed.
Supporters like you chipped in earlier this year so that our all-volunteer organization could narrow special elections in Florida by 16%- and 23%-points by turning out Generation Z voters.
We could elect a historic majority that fights for bold, progressive change and places a check on Trump's authoritarian power if we replicate that performance next year... or earlier.
Rep. Mark Green is RESIGNING and vacating his seat after this vote. And cowards like Sen. Thom Tillis in purple North Carolina and Rep. Don Bacon in a district where Kamala Harris won 50% of the vote are retiring — perhaps sooner rather than later.
I'm calling on you to support us like you did this Spring to make sure we're ready to mobilize and turn out the vote for any and every upcoming special election.
