John, Parenting alongside my husband Gil has been the greatest honor of my life. To watch Gil father our twin boys is to see what it looks like to hope for a better future, to work towards a stronger tomorrow -- and every day, I'm deeply grateful for his strong partnership.
The past few months have underscored for us all the importance of righteous and strong leadership -- for our children, for our communities, for our Congress. And it’s with this in mind that I’m proud that my husband Gil lives out the values he hopes to exemplify for our boys. John, he's a model of service, grace, reliability, and authenticity. For those reasons and so many more, I’m celebrating Gil this Father’s Day -- and if you can, John, I hope you’ll join me in wishing him a happy Father’s Day, too.
