Senate Republicans just voted 51–50 to pass a massive tax-and-spending package that includes nearly $1 trillion in Medicaid cuts, forcing about 12 million Americans off their health insurance. More than 17 million people could lose coverage by 2034. Rural hospitals, pregnant women, children, and seniors will be the hardest hit.
