Patriot, I learned the meaning of loyalty far from any marble DC hallway. I learned loyalty out there with my Navy brothers and it meant everything. You laid your life in a brother’s hands without a single doubt no matter the rain, gunfire, bone-deep fear be damned. I carried men when their legs gave out. They carried me when mine did. We never asked if it was convenient or easy, we just stood the line together. That bond forged who I am. Then I came home and stepped into DC’s halls, and saw loyalty traded for cocktail invites and TV hits. Saw men sell out the same country we bled for. If I’m honest, some nights I miss the clarity of combat more than I ever admit. That’s why I did something no consultant ever advised: I started my own Loyal Patriot List. A circle of Americans who still believe your word means something. Who won’t cut and run when it’s hard.
Thank you for your support, Navy Seal Ryan Zinke
