Brought together advocates and policy experts for our 2nd Annual Advocacy Summit & Sustaining Hope Awards Reception, highlighting the tireless efforts of changemakers in the field and in Congress
- Hosted the Protect CVI Congressional Meetings Day in Washington D.C., standing alongside local and national partners and congressional partners Rep. Robin Kelly and Rep. Steven Horsford to advocate for change in the CVI space

- Hosted Nevada Justice Camp, bringing together advocates, survivors, and community leaders to strengthen the GVP movement in Las Vegas and beyond
- Helped lead the efforts to secure $2M in the Texas state budget for CVI programming
- New York’s state budget features funding to establish a statewide Office of Gun Violence Prevention, thanks to the tireless advocacy of our Deputy Director of Legislative Advocacy, Tarria Stanley, in partnership with Sen. Myrie and New Yorkers Against Gun Violence

Stood with our state partners at the Texas State Capitol to testify against HB 2470 and HB 2882 & HB 259, dangerous bills that will weaken future public safety efforts

Brent Bailey was a featured panelist alongside Rep. Lucy McBath, State Representative Michelle Au, State Senator Elena Parent, and Dr. Randi Smith of Grady to discuss current legislative proposals, health system impacts and programs, and on-the-ground advocacy all focused on ending gun violence in our community. He was also featured in Rep. McBath’s newsletter for this event.
