NEW REPORT: Anti-homeless laws post Grants Pass

On Saturday, we released a new report tracking the growth of and growing unpopularity of laws that make it a crime to be homeless. Below are a few highlights:

  • 320 laws that make it a crime to be homeless have been introduced since Grant's pass.
  • 45 out of 57 state-level anti-homeless laws- nearly 80%- were defeated.
  • Most people agree that housing, not handcuffs, is the only real solution to homelessness.

Onward,

The Housing Not Handcuffs Campaign
