John, mid-year fundraising reports are starting to come in, and it's not good news: The Republican National Committee (RNC) is rolling in special interest money.
So far this year, the RNC has raised $80 million. That money is already being funneled into the most competitive races in the country, including those where EMILYs List women are running to flip or hold critical seats.

Every dollar the RNC raises gives anti-choice Republicans more — more ad buys, paid canvassers, voter suppression efforts, and attacks on the women we've endorsed. If we want to compete, we need to start matching the GOP's urgency with our own. Because every time we fall behind on fundraising, we fall behind on the most meaningful ways to reach voters, including:
- The ads they see on their screens
- The conversations they have at their doors
- The mailers in their mailboxes
- The infrastructure that protects elections
We cannot let the GOP buy its way to power. Not when so much is at stake, and not when we have candidates ready to fight for abortion access, democracy, and real representation.
